![]() Negotiations with other overseas regulatory authorities are ongoing. These include agreements with leading authorities such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the USA, the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). ![]() This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between: Provide the agency name and a brief description of each agency. By providing a reference of active as well as inactive MOUs, we hope the amount of time and paperwork required to initiate new cooperative work may be significantly diminished. At the same time, the parties understand that key details of that contract remain to be worked out, and so the memorandum is not legally binding. Our goal in creating and maintaining this site is to help make it easier for the USGS to coordinate, cooperate, and work together with other partners.
